Reporting to Finance Manager SEA, the Accounting Manager will oversee books closing and reporting of both Malaysia and Thailand business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate monthly books closing with proper reconciliations and reporting within set deadline.
- Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly/yearly actual and forecast analysis and reporting to internal and external parties.
- Assist in review, documentation and strengthening of internal controls.
- Support and ensure proper and timely submission of all tax filings.
- Business partner with other departments for operations support.
- Any other ad hoc tasks as advised by superior.
Job Requirement:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in managing full set accounts in a retail/FMCG industry.
- An audit background will be an added advantage,
- Good knowledge of IFRS and local tax framework.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast pace organization.
- Adaptable and proactive, with positive hands-on attitude.
- Strong team leader with excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Preference will be given to candidates having sound working experience with Microsoft BC system or Thailand accounting and tax compliance.
