Accounting Specialist

Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Accounting Specialist to join our team on-site at our Kuala Lumpur office. The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, managing journal entries, and handling daily accounting tasks. Additional responsibilities include utilizing accounting software to ensure accurate data entry and performing financial analysis to contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Financial Statements preparation and management
• Experience with Accounting Software and managing Journal Entries
• Strong background in Finance and well-developed Analytical Skills
• Attention to detail with effective problem-solving abilities
• Solid understanding of applicable financial regulations and standards
• Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certifications (e.g., MICPA, CPA (M), ACCA, ICAEW, MIA) are a plus
