Role Overview:
The Accounts cum Admin role supports daily finance and administrative functions to ensure smooth office operations, accurate transaction processing, and timely reporting. The position plays a key role in supporting the Finance team by maintaining proper documentation, assisting in basic accounting processes, and coordinating administrative tasks that contribute to efficient business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily finance operations including invoice processing, data entry, filing, and updating financial records in line with internal procedures and timelines.
- Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable by preparing payment vouchers, updating vendor/customer records, following up on outstanding documents, and coordinating payment or collection matters.
- Perform basic reconciliations such as checking invoices against purchase orders, verifying supporting documents, and assisting in monthly closing preparations.
- Provide administrative support to the Finance and Office teams, including managing office supplies, coordinating logistics, and assisting with service providers, maintenance, and general office operations.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for finance and administrative records to ensure compliance and ease of retrieval during audits or internal reviews.
- Assist in preparing simple financial summaries or reports as instructed by the Finance Manager or Accounts Manager.
- Coordinate with internal departments and regional teams on document submission, verification, or information required to support finance operations.
- Assist in supporting external auditors by preparing basic schedules, retrieving documents, and ensuring timely submission of required information.
- Handle general office administrative duties such as managing correspondence, maintaining attendance or staff records, coordinating meetings, and supporting onboarding/offboarding documentation as required.
- Perform any other administrative or finance-related tasks assigned to support smooth daily operations.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in accounting support or administrative roles, preferably within a multinational or structured corporate environment.
- Basic knowledge of accounting procedures involving AP, AR, reconciliations, and documentation processes.
- Experience using SAP or other accounting/ERP systems will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel, for data entry and simple reporting.
- Strong attention to detail with good organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities responsibilities and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive and reliable individual with a positive work attitude and willingness to learn.
