We are seeking a meticulous and highly organized Executive to manage the financial operations of our client property management companies. The successful candidate will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance to ensure the company's financial health and regulatory adherence in Malaysia's property management sector.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including income, expenses, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets for managed properties.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for property owners, tenants, and internal stakeholders.
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Accounts Receivable & Payable
- Manage rent collections, deposits, and other property-related receivables.
- Ensure timely payment of property-related expenses, including maintenance fees, utility bills, and vendor invoices.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Develop annual budgets for each property and track performance against these budgets.
- Forecast cash flow to ensure financial stability and timely payment of obligations.
Tax Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian tax regulations, including the preparation and filing of SST (if applicable), corporate tax, and withholding tax for non-residents.
- Handle the preparation and submission of necessary financial documentation to local authorities.
Audit & Reconciliation
- Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with external auditors during annual audits.
