Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounts Executive, located in Butterworth. The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records. The role also involves assisting with budgeting, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with financial standards and regulations. Collaboration with internal teams and handling inquiries related to financial transactions will also be part of the day-to-day tasks.

Accounting Duties:

• Handle full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL).
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reconciliations.
• Manage invoicing, payments, and collections.

Audit & Compliance:

• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and bankers.
• Ensure timely submission of SST, tax-related documents, and statutory filings.
• Maintain proper documentation and organized filing systems

Financial Support:

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.
• Prepare necessary financial data for management review.

General Assistance:

• Provide support to the sales & management team in daily tasks.
• Perform duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Experience with accounting software (SQL / AutoCount) is an advantage.
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and responsibility.

Working Hours

• Mon - Thurs 8:00am -1:00pm, 2:00pm-5:30pm
• Fri 8:00am -1:00pm, 2:30pm-6:00pm
• Sat 8:00am -1:00pm

Work Location: In person

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,800.00 per month
