Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Accounting Support

  • Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements and quarterly Bursa Malaysia reporting, ensuring compliance with MFRS and Bursa Listing Requirements.
  • Manage full set of accounts, including general ledger (GL), accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), bank reconciliation, month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Lead and supervise the team in preparing and reviewing management accounts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to internal reporting deadlines and standards.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for both statutory and management purposes.
Internal Control & Process Improvement
  • Maintain and enhance internal control systems to ensure financial integrity, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Review and improve accounting processes and SOPs to strengthen reporting accuracy and timeliness.

Requirements
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in construction, property development, or audit background.
  • Strong experience in full set accounting, consolidation, and financial reporting.
  • Independent, proactive, and able to work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical skills with good stakeholder management ability.
