Job Description


Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Accounting Support

  • Manage and oversee full set of accounts, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bank reconciliation, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare management accounts on a timely basis, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal reporting standards and deadlines.
  • Support financial reporting activities for statutory and management purposes.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and documentation in accordance with applicable accounting standards (MFRS where relevant).


Internal Control & Process Improvement

  • Maintain and strengthen internal control processes to ensure financial accuracy, integrity, and operational efficiency.
  • Review and improve accounting workflows, processes, and SOPs to enhance reporting timeliness and accuracy.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.

Requirements

  • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience in full set of accounts (this is the key requirement).
  • Experience in construction, property development, audit, or similar industries is an added advantage but not mandatory.
  • Consolidation experience is not required but will be an advantage.
  • Independent, proactive, and able to work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical skills and good stakeholder communication abilities.
