Job Description

Position: Accounts Payable Executive

Industry: Global Manufacturing

Working Duration: 6 months contract (Fixed)

Working Day/Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:30AM - 530PM

Working Location: Shah Alam, Selangor

Salary: Range from RM2,700 – RM3,500 (Based on qualifications + experiences) with statutory contribution + leave entitlement + medical coverage

Job Responsibilities

Accounts Payable & Financial Support

  • Support others by carrying out simple financial monitoring tasks. Enter data into the standard company system and review and verify it for accuracy. Ensure correct and timely processing of invoices.
  • Extract relevant data from information provided by others, and input it into spreadsheets or standard formats.
  • Support others by working on a variety of data management tasks.

Documentation & Administrative Support

  • Use standard office software to carry out basic formatting on letters, memorandum, and routine reports.
  • Create, organize, and maintain files containing the correspondence and records of a senior colleague.
  • Produce, update, and provide best practice support on Microsoft documents, databases, and other departmental systems to support the work of more senior colleagues.

Reporting & Information Management

  • Extract simple/automatic data in various forms (graphs, charts, etc.) to include in reports.
  • Support in using the internal communications system to access specific information on request.

Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Contribute to reviewing existing operations in own area of work and assist in identifying improvements.
  • Develop working knowledge of the organization's policies and procedures and of regulatory codes and codes of conduct relevant to own work, adhering to mandatory procedures to ensure own work is undertaken to the required standards.

Learning & Development

  • Develop and maintain excellent process of technical skills by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.

Work Planning & Coordination

  • Organize own work schedule in order to get the job done, coordinating with support services and assigning short-term tasks to others if necessary.

Requirements

  • Possess at least Diploma in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1–2 years working experience within the Finance and Accounting field.
  • Knowledge of the Accounting System is an added advantage.
  • Required Computer skills, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
