The opportunity

As an Accounts Payable Manager, you will lead and develop a high-performing AP team while overseeing end-to-end accounts payable operations, ensuring timely payments, accurate financial processing, compliance, and continuous process improvement.

Your key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable operations, including invoice processing, payment execution, vendor master data management, and employee expense claims.
• Monitor operational performance through KPIs and driving continuous improvements
• Lead month-end and year-end close activities relating to accounts payable.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to resolve escalations, payment issues, and process-related inquiries.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of finance professionals across markets
• Proven people leadership and team management experience

Ideally, you'll also

• Have experience working across regional finance operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, CIMA, or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum 9 years of relevant Accounts Payable or Procure-to-Pay experience, with proven experience leading teams.
• Experience in a shared service, BPO, or multinational organization is an added advantage
