We are seeking a meticulous and organized Accounts & Payroll Executive to manage our day-to-day financial operations and payroll compliance. In this role, you will own everything from basic data entry and ledger maintenance to statutory compliance, including payroll processing, EPF payments, and tax filings (SST & Corporate/Individual Income Tax).
Key Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping & Ledger: Accurately record all daily financial transactions, accounts payable, and accounts receivable in the accounting software.
- Payroll & Statutory Management: Process monthly employee salaries and ensure accurate, timely submissions of EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB (Monthly Tax Deductions) via statutory portals (e.g., i-Akaun).
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit Sales and Service Tax (SST) returns accurately and on time. Coordinate with external tax agents/auditors for annual corporate income tax filings.
- Financial Reporting: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and assist in preparing monthly management accounts (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet).
- Liaise with Bank: When required.
- Monthly report to the management
Requirements:
- Diploma, ACCA or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience handling full-cycle accounts and payroll in Malaysia.
- Strong familiarity with Malaysian statutory requirements (EPF Act, SOCSO, LHDN income tax, and Royal Malaysian Customs SST regulations).
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to meet strict compliance deadlines.
