Job Description

For over 35 years, F-Secure has led the cybersecurity industry with our 200+ service provider partners. As the home of scam protection, we're reimagining how we protect people from modern threats through cutting-edge scam detection and solutions that are setting the industry standard. We bring together the sharpest minds of cyber security with a shared purpose: to protect people from modern threats. Here, you'll have a real impact, making every digital moment more secure for everyone. You'll thrive and grow in our Fellowship culture, where we dream big, trust, and challenge each other to deliver results and move with speed. You'll be welcomed into a diverse, global team with an informal and collaborative culture where your voice truly matters.

Join us in securing the digital world together – where your work will make a lasting impact.

We are looking for an analytical Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day AR operations across multiple countries, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, incoming payments, and account reconciliations. You'll play an important part in keeping our financial operations running smoothly as F-Secure continues to grow globally.

You will work closely with the Finance team and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external customers across different regions and time zones. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a multi-country environment, enjoys bringing structure to financial processes, and takes pride in accuracy and reliability. You'll contribute to month-end closing activities, reporting, and process improvement initiatives, helping to build a scalable and standardized AR function that supports our global business.

This role is based in Kuala Lumpur, and we work in a hybrid setting. It would be great if you could join the rest of the team at the office in KL Eco City at least twice a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the flow of day-to-day AR operations, including verifying and processing invoices, incoming payments, and maintaining records of payments and account statuses
  • Monitor and respond to client and internal queries promptly, ensuring a high standard of service
  • Drive client collection activities to support healthy cash flow
  • Collaborate with team members on month-end closing tasks, required reporting, and process standardization and improvements
  • Support the broader Finance team with other tasks as needed, such as invoicing and accounts payable. We value flexibility and a willingness to contribute beyond your core area

What are we looking for

  • Accounting degree and relevant experience (about 3 to 5 years) in accounts receivable, ideally in a multi-country or international setup
  • Comfortable with the rhythm of a finance team: month-end closing and reporting cycles come with firm deadlines, and you're someone who stays organized, precise, and calm when the pace picks up
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to follow up persistently and drive customer collections — you'll be the key contact point for internal sales teams and external clients, and won't shy away from pushing back when needed
  • Experience working in a global or cross-regional environment beyond APAC, with the skills and confidence to navigate different stakeholders and working styles
  • Continuous curiosity and willingness to learn, improve processes, and adapt to new ways of working
  • Full professional proficiency in English

You Get Bonus Points For

  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, NetSuite, Workday or similar)
  • Curiosity towards AI, and how it can develop you work and related processes
  • Prior experience in a listed or global technology company
  • Proficiency in additional languages

What you will get from us

  • Welcome to the good side: the home of scam protection! Work with industry-leading experts defining the future of cybersecurity and scam protection.
  • Be an AI pioneer, not a follower. Access industry-leading tools like Claude and Claude Code, with full support to integrate AI into your daily work while others are still figuring out policies. We're not asking if but how AI transforms our work, positioning you at the forefront of the industry.
  • Flexible work that works for you: hybrid and remote options with team-agreed ways of working.
  • Inclusive environment with flat, approachable leadership in our diverse global community. Thrive in our Fellowship culture where we empower, trust, challenge, and support each other in doing our best work.
  • Comprehensive global benefits including Employee Share Savings Plan (ESSP), Fellow Member of the Board opportunities, and Annual Protect & Educate paid volunteer day.
  • Wellbeing support through personal coaching services and one hour per week for personal recharging.
  • Continuous growth via F-Secure Academy, Leadership programs, AI training, mentoring, and dedicated Learning Week.

A security vetting will possibly be conducted for the selected candidate in accordance to our employment process.
