Associate/ Senior Executive / Assistant Manager, Actuarial
We are hiring Actuarial professionals to support our Hong Kong entity across multiple specializations. These roles provide strong regional exposure and the opportunity to work on high-impact financial and risk initiatives.
Available Roles & Key Responsibilities
- RBC Actuarial Support capital reporting including solvency, stress testing, and sensitivities; maintain HKRBC tools and optimize Lite Models for calibration and projections.
- IFRS 17 Actuarial Assist in business planning, forecasting, and analytical reviews; manage operating profit analysis, assess financial impacts, and drive process improvements.
- Actuarial Modelling Maintain and enhance deterministic and stochastic models; perform validations, analyze model changes, and ensure proper documentation.
- Capital Management Execute Prophet runs for sensitivities, SST, ORSA, and business planning; prepare inputs, extract results, and support ad-hoc financial analyses.
- Participating (PAR) Business Actuarial Manage bonus declarations, review crediting rates, support bonus rule enhancements, oversee PRE and asset share calculations, and maintain bonus models.
- Reinsurance Actuarial Handle end-to-end reinsurance settlements; support system enhancements and UAT, provide financial reporting data, and conduct impact analyses.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of actuarial experience within the life insurance industry.
- Working knowledge of Prophet and SQL is preferred.
- Progress toward or qualification in SOA, CAS, or IFOA is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
