Actuarial Executive - Valuation

Position Summary the purpose of the job

This position is responsible in performing the Actuarial Valuation exercise, including relevant reporting as required by BNM. This position would also support capital management and RBCT reporting exercise.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Actuarial valuation

• Lead and perform the monthly Actuarial valuation exercise
• Provide support in the MFRS4/BNM reporting
• Review and enhance the Actuarial Valuation process

Financial condition and capital management

• Provide support the preparation of financial condition report, as well as ICAAP
• Prepare the quarterly RBCT reporting, including the analysis on capital movements

Others

• Assist in any other ad-hoc tasks and analysis as required

Education/Work Experience

1. Open to fresh graduates. Candidate with adequate working experience in the Actuarial field may be considered for senior executive role.
2. Bachelor degree in Actuarial Science (or any other relevant degree).
3. Actively pursuing actuarial qualifications from CAS/SOA/IFOA/IAAust.

• Actuarial Valuation

Skills

• Proficient in data analytics programs, e.g. R, SQL, SAS, Python etc.
• Proficient in the use of Excel/VBA
