Job Summary
To ensure timely submission of statutory filings, assists in corporate governance matters, and supports the Company Secretary in managing corporate secretarial functions for the organisation or a portfolio of clients. Strong organization, attention to detail, and knowledge of corporate legislation are essential for success in this role.
This role is based in Kota Damansara.
Job Responsibilities
- Handle full spectrum of corporate secretarial duties for clients, including company incorporation (Sdn Bhd, LLP, Enterprise, etc.).
- Prepare and submit annual returns and audited financial statements via MBRS.
- Maintain and update statutory records, registers and minutes book.
- Draft company secretarial documentation, letters, and forms.
- Support the Named Company Secretary with daily administrative and statutory duties.
- Proactively remind clients regarding annual filings, payments, and compliance matters.
- Provide professional advice on corporate governance and compliance best practices.
- Ensure timely filing and logement of statutory documents with SSM and other authorities
- Liaise with clients, auditors and regulators on secretarial matters.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Law, Corporate Governance, or related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., MAICSA, MACS & Licensed Company Secretary registered with SSM) is preferred.
- CGQP Finalist is also encouraged to apply.
- Work well independently in a deadline-driven environment.
- Working knowledge of Companies Act 2016, MBRS, MYCOID systems, and relevant softwares (i.e SPC).
- Use of emails, Microsoft Office Words andExcel.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in a corporate secretarial firm or corporate secretarial department.
