JOB PURPOSE
The role assists in financial accounting and reporting activities at the corporate level. Key focus areas include finance policy and procedures, periodic reporting to the parent company, compliance work, adoption of new accounting standards, and month-end closing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Insights and Reporting
- Assist with the preparation of financial activity data and reports on a cyclical basis, including:
- Monthly Basis:
- Support month-end closing, including journal postings, updating and managing lease accounting entries, and performing consolidation activities.
- Prepare various monthly reports for stakeholders, such as forex analysis and cash flow statements.
- Quarterly Basis:
- Prepare KWE reporting package, financials with variance analysis, GL reclassifications, and support audit requests.
- Maintain and update all BPC master data.
- Support Statistical Return and Pricing Survey.
- Monitor and analyze unbilled receivable balances.
Financial Information Systems
- Perform administrative and transactional tasks within the finance information system, including:
- Setup of new company codes in SAP.
- Support change requests with GL data fields.
- Perform data loading from BW to BPC.
- Resolve system issues.
Financial Modeling
- Provide financial modeling input into business cases, costs, and schedules to support business growth.
Financial Policies, Guidelines, and Protocols
- Develop and deliver financial guidelines and protocols to ensure compliance with regulations and good financial practices.
- Support the adoption and assessment of new accounting standards in collaboration with external consultants.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 4-6 years of relevant working experience in finance and accounting.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and group consolidation processes.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
