Auto Elegance Sdn Bhd is an authorised dealership for GWM (Great Wall Motor) vehicles in Malaysia, working in partnership with Great Wall Motor Sales Malaysia Sdn Bhd, the national distributor for GWM and a wholly owned subsidiary of GWM China. GWM is a global automotive brand offering electric vehicles (EVs), SUVs, and off-road SUVs under nameplates such as ORA, HAVAL, WEY, and TANK. From our showrooms in Petaling Jaya, Selangor and Skudai, Johor Bahru, we are focused on delivering a modern, customer centric experience for Malaysia's passenger vehicle market.
As we grow our after sales operations, we are looking for an After Sales Executive to ensure our GWM customers receive smooth, professional service support after their purchase.
Role Overview
As an After Sales Executive (Automotive – GWM), you will be the main point of contact for customers after they purchase their vehicles. You will handle service appointments, coordinate with the workshop and parts team, follow up on vehicle status, and ensure customers receive a smooth and professional after sales experience.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Reception & Service Booking
Handle customer enquiries related to service, maintenance, and repairs via phone, WhatsApp, and walk ins.
Advise customers on recommended service intervals, maintenance packages, and basic repair options.
Schedule and confirm service appointments, ensuring even workshop loading.
Service Process Coordination
Open job orders in the system and ensure all customer and vehicle details are accurate.
Coordinate with Service Technicians and the Parts & Warranty team on job status and parts availability.
Update customers on job progress, additional findings, and estimated completion times.
Delivery & Follow-up
Prepare invoices and explain work performed, parts replaced, and charges to customers.
Ensure vehicles are properly cleaned and ready before delivery back to customers.
Conduct simple follow up calls/messages after service to check satisfaction and encourage repeat visits.
Customer Experience & Issue Resolution
Handle customer complaints professionally; attempt first level resolution and escalate to Service Manager where required.
Maintain good working relationships with customers to build loyalty and repeat business.
Administration & Reporting
Maintain accurate service records, job orders, and customer files.
Assist with basic service KPI reporting (number of jobs, labour hours, customer feedback, etc.).
Requirements
Minimum 2 - 4 years experience in automotive after-sales / service advisor / customer service roles.
Basic technical understanding of vehicles (EV and ICE); GWM experience is an advantage.
Strong communication and customer handling skills.
Ability to manage multiple jobs and follow up tasks in a busy workshop environment.
Language: Proficiency in Mandarin and English; ability to support Mandarin content is an advantage. Bahasa Malaysia is a plus.
Strong interest in cars and EV technology, with a willingness to continuously learn about GWM products and the wider automotive market.
