About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven
Aftersales General Manager to lead and oversee the overall aftersales operations of our dealership. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and team performance while ensuring compliance with dealership standards and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Aftersales Operations Management
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the aftersales department, including service, parts, and customer support functions.
- Ensure efficient workflow, service quality, and operational excellence across all aftersales activities.
- Monitor departmental performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage dealership facilities and ensure compliance with organizational and manufacturer standards.
Financial & Business Performance
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for the aftersales business.
- Drive revenue, profitability, and achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify business opportunities and recommend investments to support long-term growth.
- Optimize product and service offerings to maximize customer value and business performance.
- Monitor dealer agreement requirements, retail standards, and bonus program performance.
Leadership & People Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the aftersales team to achieve operational and business objectives.
- Provide coaching, performance management, and disciplinary guidance where required.
- Foster a positive, customer-focused, and high-performance culture.
- Act as a role model for professionalism, leadership, and operational excellence.
Strategic Planning & Business Development
- Set and communicate departmental objectives aligned with company goals.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop and implement innovative sales, marketing, and customer retention strategies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive business initiatives and improve customer experience.
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, manufacturers, and regulatory authorities.
- Liaise with internal departments including Sales, Parts, Finance, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Represent the dealership in discussions with external partners and key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Automotive Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in automotive aftersales operations, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of dealership operations, service management, parts management, and customer service.
- Proven track record in budgeting, financial management, and achieving business targets.
- Strong leadership, people management, and coaching skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and dealer management systems.
