Your Impact
As an Application Maintenance and Support Specialist, you will ensure the stability, reliability, and effectiveness of Asahi's global procurement systems, with a strong focus on SAP Ariba.
Your work will directly support seamless Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) operations by resolving incidents quickly, maintaining high service levels, and enabling users to work efficiently and compliantly.
By driving continuous improvement and strong system governance, you will help enhance user experience, reduce operational risk, and support procurement operations at global scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day application support for procurement platforms, primarily SAP Ariba, covering end-to-end P2P processes.
- Manage, triage, and resolve incidents and service requests via ServiceNow, ensuring compliance with SLAs, support processes, and quality standards.
- Perform structured analysis and troubleshooting, resolving standard issues independently and escalating complex cases to IT teams, vendors, or functional experts.
- Ensure stable and compliant system operations by following governance standards, identifying non-compliant usage, and reinforcing correct system and process adoption.
- Contribute to continuous improvement through problem management, root cause analysis, and initiatives to reduce recurring issues and improve user experience.
- Collaborate with global procurement, IT, service centres, and external partners to ensure consistent support delivery and operational excellence.
About You
- University degree and strong proficiency in English
- Professional experience in procurement environments
- Hands-on experience with procurement platforms, ideally SAP Ariba
- Good understanding of incident, problem, and change management processes (ServiceNow experience preferred)
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to manage priorities in a structured, process-driven environment
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
