Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AI & Smart Manufacturing Specialist to lead the company's AI, Industry 4.0, Smart Factory, and digital transformation initiatives across our manufacturing operations.

This role will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and implementing innovative technologies that enhance productivity, automation, product quality, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making. The successful candidate will work closely with plant operations, engineering, maintenance, quality, supply chain, and senior management to develop and execute the organization's Smart Factory roadmap.

The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in manufacturing operations, industrial automation, Industry 4.0, digital manufacturing, AI applications, robotics, Industrial IoT (IIoT), computer vision, or related technologies, with a proven track record of delivering business impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to leverage AI technologies across manufacturing operations, engineering, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and corporate functions
  • Lead the development, implementation, and deployment of AI solutions to improve productivity, process efficiency, quality control, and operational performance
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and recommend suitable AI, machine learning, computer vision, predictive analytics, or generative AI solutions
  • Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, insights, and improvement opportunities
  • Develop proof-of-concepts (POCs), pilot projects, and business cases for AI initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, technology vendors, and solution providers to implement AI projects
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of AI solutions and continuously enhance their performance
  • Provide training and knowledge sharing to build AI awareness and capabilities within the organization
  • Keep abreast of emerging AI technologies, industry trends, and best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Automation, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3–8 years of relevant experience in AI, machine learning, data analytics, automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience implementing AI solutions in a manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or operational environment is highly preferred.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: Machine Learning, Predictive Maintenance, Computer Vision, Process Optimization, Data Analytics, Industrial Automation, Generative AI / Large Language Models (LLMs), Intelligent Document Processing, Production Planning Optimization.
  • Familiarity with Python, SQL, Power BI, cloud platforms, AI tools, or related technologies is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
