AI Data Engineer

Position Title: AI Data Engineer

Role Summary:

We are seeking an AI Data Engineer to design and build reliable, scalable data foundations that support analytics and AI/ML applications. This role focuses on developing robust data pipelines, ensuring feature readiness, and maintaining high data quality and reliability for AI-driven use cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support analytics and AI/ML workloads

• Develop and optimize data warehouse and lakehouse architectures

• Ensure data quality, freshness, reliability, and SLA compliance for critical datasets

• Support feature engineering, training datasets, and model inference pipelines

• Improve data discoverability and usability through metadata management, data lineage, and documentation

• Collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, and AI/ML engineers to enable end-to-end data solutions

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or above level in Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related courses.

• 1–5 years of relevant working experience in data engineering or related roles

• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Scala)

• Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hive, Iceberg, or similar frameworks

• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and ETL/ELT pipeline design

• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow (or equivalent)

• Exposure to ML pipelines, feature stores, or AI-related data workflows is a strong plus

• Be able to communicate in both English and Chinese languages (Native or Bilingual) in daily work.
