Your Key Responsibilities
As part of our AI & Data team, you will work closely with financial services clients to unlock the value of their data through modern data platforms, advanced analytics, and AI-driven solutions. You will contribute across traditional BI/DW environments as well as large-scale cloud, big data, and machine learning initiatives.
You will:
- Engage clients to shape their data strategy, reporting environments, and AI adoption roadmap
- Translate business problems into data, analytics, and AI use cases (e.g., risk analytics, fraud detection, customer insights, predictive modelling)
- Support delivery of end-to-end data engineering, analytics, and AI transformation projects
- Drive improvements in data pipelines, data quality, governance, and scalability
- Work on removing operational bottlenecks and enabling real-time, data-driven decision-making
Role Scope by Level
- Senior Associate:
- Deliver key workstreams across data engineering, analytics, and AI use cases
- Support solution development and stakeholder communication
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outputs
- Manager:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of client engagements
- Manage stakeholders, timelines, and multiple workstreams
- Drive solution architecture and oversee AI/data implementation
- Support business development, proposal writing, and team mentoring
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and API integrations to handle increasing data volume and complexity
- Collaborate with analytics and business teams to enhance data models and enable business intelligence and AI use cases
- Implement robust data quality frameworks to ensure accuracy and reliability of production data
- Perform data analysis and troubleshooting for data-related issues
- Contribute to documentation, testing, and engineering best practices
- Define and manage enterprise data models using technologies such as Spark, Hive, and SQL-based platforms
- Partner with data scientists and analysts to enable machine learning and AI initiatives
Skills and Attributes for Success
- Senior Associate: Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience
- Manager: 5–8+ years of experience in data, analytics, or consulting
- Strong capabilities across:
- Data engineering, data architecture, and information management
- Software engineering practices, DevOps, and Agile delivery
- Hands-on experience in:
- ETL tools: Azure Data Factory, Datastage, Informatica, SAP DS
- Databases: Azure SQL, Teradata, DB2, SQL Server, Oracle
- Programming: Python, SQL
- Exposure to:
- Big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, Hive)
- Data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
- Understanding of SDLC, Agile, or hybrid delivery methodologies
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Ideally, You'll Also Have
- Experience working with financial services clients (banking, insurance, capital markets)
- Experience engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong consulting experience with direct client interaction
