Role Summary
Join Annata's Prototype Lab team and help shape the future of AI innovation.
In this role, you'll design and develop working prototypes that explore emerging technologies in a lab setting, with real-world applications. You'll collaborate with internal teams and, over time, external clients to ensure each solution delivers meaningful business value and meets customer needs.

Occasional travel may be required.
Responsibilities
1. Prototype Development & Innovation
- Design and develop end-to-end prototypes that evaluate new technologies and concepts.
- Build proof-of-concepts on the Microsoft platform, bringing together Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Dataverse, Copilot Studio, and supporting Azure services to deliver applied AI experiences.
- Apply Microsoft AI tooling on the business platform. For example Copilot Studio agents, AI Builder, or AI-driven automation to extend prototypes with intelligent capabilities.
- Apply integration and automation patterns (e.g. Power Automate flows, event triggers, webhooks) to connect prototypes with broader enterprise systems.
2. Consulting, Planning & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and, progressively, external clients to ensure prototypes align with business needs and customer expectations.
- Understand technical and business requirements to develop actionable project plans.
- Provide technical input to product and design teams to ensure feasibility, quality, and business value.
3. Product Workflow & Quality Assurance
- Maintain solution history, version control, and documentation using source control systems.
- Track and update work progress through DevOps tasks, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
- Apply Solution ALM good practice to keep prototypes traceable, repeatable, and customer-ready, supporting clear release notes and handover documentation.
- Help maintain realistic test data and demo environments so the team can validate prototypes against real-world scenarios.
- Conduct unit testing and solution reviews to ensure clean, reliable, and high-quality deliverables.
4. Communication & Decision-Making
- Present sprint findings and prototype outcomes to internal teams, translating technical insights into business value.
- Share updates and documentation consistently through daily stand-ups.
- Make timely, data-informed decisions that balance technical feasibility with business priorities.
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Exposure to applied AI on the Microsoft platform. For example, Copilot Studio agents, AI Builder, or embedding AI into Power Automate flows.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Dataverse and an understanding of structured business data models.
- Hands-on experience with at least some of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Hands-on experience with at least some of the Microsoft Power Platform. Copilot Studio, Model-driven apps or Power Automate (Power Pages or PCF an advantage).
- Exposure to Azure services and source control (Git or Azure DevOps).
- Awareness of integration and automation patterns such as event-driven flows and webhooks
- Familiarity with MVP techniques and the product development lifecycle.
- Relevant experience in a client-facing or consulting role preferred.
- Background or interest in the automotive, equipment, or fleet industries is an advantage.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
