About the Role
We're partnering with an established technology company seeking an experienced AI Enablement Engineer to drive enterprise AI adoption across engineering teams. In this role, you'll lead the implementation of AI-assisted development practices, enable GitHub Copilot adoption, and improve developer productivity through AI solutions and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive AI-assisted software development adoption across engineering and delivery teams.
- Implement and govern GitHub Copilot (GHCP), Microsoft Copilot, and similar AI coding tools.
- Define AI governance, best practices, and usage standards.
- Conduct AI training, workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions, and developer coaching.
- Identify and implement AI use cases, AI agents, and automation opportunities.
- Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, and business stakeholders to improve delivery efficiency.
- Measure AI adoption, developer productivity, and business value realization.
- Promote continuous improvement in AI-enabled software development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, AI Enablement, DevOps, or a related technical role.
- Strong background in Software Engineering, DevOps/DevSecOps, and modern Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot (GHCP), Microsoft Copilot, or similar AI productivity tools.
- Experience driving enterprise AI adoption and developer enablement initiatives.
- Knowledge of AI governance, automation, and AI best practices.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and coaching skills.
- Experience delivering AI capability-building programmes, workshops, and technical mentoring.
- Experience leading GitHub Copilot adoption and AI transformation initiatives is highly preferred.
