As an AI Engineer Intern in the GCDB Application team, you will work hands-on with cutting-edge AI technologies that power DHL's global logistics operations. You will assist in designing, developing, and testing AI-driven solutions and automation tools that enhance our application capabilities. You will collaborate closely with experienced engineers and architects to build intelligent features, support data pipeline development, and contribute to proof-of-concept AI projects.

Ready to embark on the journey Here's what we are looking for:
As an AI Engineer Intern, having experience with Python, n8n and LLM AI framework (e.g., Google ADK, Langchain, and langgraph) is a huge plus. Very good knowledge of data processing, model training, and API/MCP integration will also be an integral part of this role.

You are a technology, therefore you have a good understanding and curiosity for GenAI, LLMs, and prompt engineering. You are able to work independently, prioritize and organize your tasks under time and workload pressure. Working in a multinational environment, you can expect cross-region collaboration with teams around the globe, thus being advanced in spoken and written English will be certainly useful.

Hi, my name is Simon and I'm a team manager. I started my career at DHL IT Services back in 2015, when I took a role as Application Architect in the GO2 Application team. Gaining more hands-on experience with application architecture and Agile development has always fascinated me, so I moved to the GCDB Application team. From there, in 2026, I moved to a management role, being GCDB Application Team Manager. Together with the strong support of a multinational & diverse team, we are working on our common ambition - technology. Looking forward to having you onboard!
