AI Engineer

Role Purpose

Develop, integrate, and operationalise Application on defined architecture and specifications, ensuring reliable, scalable, and production‑ready AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Build AI applications and components in line with approved solution designs, covering data processing, AI logic, orchestration, and user interaction flows.
• Implement conversational and analytical AI capabilities that deliver accurate, context‑aware, and business‑relevant outputs.
• Integrate AI components with curated data models, semantic layers, and enterprise data sources to ensure consistency and governed behaviour.
• Apply best practices for testing, validation, performance optimisation, and monitoring of AI solutions.
• Work closely with AI Architects, data teams, and business stakeholders to refine implementations based on feedback and evolving requirements.

Key Experience & Skills

• Hands‑on experience building AI applications, POCs, or production solutions, with the ability to demonstrate working implementations and validated outcomes.
• Practical experience integrating Azure platform‑native AI capabilities with custom‑built AI components or models as defined by solution architecture.
• Experience working with structured enterprise data, semantic models, or curated datasets to ensure AI outputs are accurate, consistent, and governed.
• Strong application development skills covering AI logic implementation, orchestration, APIs, and data integration layers.
• Ability to implement conversational and analytical AI patterns, ensuring responses are context‑aware, grounded, and aligned to business expectations.
