About the role:

The AI Engineering Specialist serves as an AI Orchestrator within the IT team, responsible for building and scaling the company's internal B2B SaaS platform using agentic AI methodologies. This role combines high-level system architecture with hands-on delivery, leveraging advanced AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, MCP servers) to accelerate development velocity and maintain the quality of a complex, multi-tenant enterprise ecosystem. The role operates with end-to-end module ownership from database schema design to frontend implementation and is responsible for establishing the documentation and AI context standards that enable consistent, high-quality delivery across the engineering team.

Job Description:

AI-Augmented Development

• Use Claude Code, Cursor and agentic AI tools to rapidly prototype and deploy production-ready features

• Own application modules end-to-end: database schema, backend logic, and frontend integration

• Audit AI-generated code for multi-tenancy security, row-level isolation, and idempotent logic

• Translate business requirements into high-fidelity prompts and technical specifications

AI Infrastructure & Tooling

• Establish and maintain MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers to optimise the development environment

• Evaluate and integrate LLMs and AI services based on task fit (e.g. Gemini, DeepSeek, and emerging models)

• Create and maintain CLAUDE.md, rules.md, and ADR documentation to standardise AI workflows

System Architecture & Scalability

• Design and refine Hub & Spoke architecture across AWS and Cloudflare hybrid infrastructure

• Implement durable messaging patterns using Redis Streams for reliable cross-application event distribution

• Contribute to the platform's evolution toward a modular, scalable microservices architecture
