About The Role
Are you passionate about pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence and creating real-world impact As a (Senior) AI Expert in our Data Innovation & Data Intelligence Department, you'll be at the forefront of our AI transformation journey, driving innovation that improves lives.
You will design and build advanced AI solutions for complex business problems, focusing on Generative AI technologies. As both a technical expert and AI consultant, you'll work closely with diverse stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities and translate AI concepts into business value.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and develop production-grade AI solutions with a focus on Generative AI technologies
- Build sophisticated AI Agent systems leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) to automate complex workflows and integrate enterprise knowledge sources using Retrieval Augmented Generation
- Consult with business stakeholders to identify high-value AI use cases and translate technical possibilities into business value
- Conduct feasibility assessments and recommend optimal implementation approaches based on requirements and constraints
- Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover insights, assess data quality, and inform AI solution design
- Communicate complex AI concepts clearly to diverse audiences
- Occasional travel and flexibility to work across different time zones may be required to support global collaboration and project objectives.
Professional Qualifications & Technical Expertise
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related technical field
- Several years of professional experience in the field of AI development
- Strong communication skills in English (minimum B2/C1 level); German is a valuable plus
- Proven ability to consult with and influence stakeholders at all levels, translating technical AI concepts into business impact
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Python with clean, maintainable code practices
- Exploratory data analysis (EDA) techniques to uncover patterns and insights, also using data manipulation libraries (e.g. Pandas, NumPy)
- Agent Development: LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or similar development frameworks and multi-step orchestration patterns
- Machine Learning: scikit-learn, XGBoost or similar frameworks for classical ML tasks
