We are seeking an experienced AI/ML engineer specializing in Generative AI and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to design, develop and deploy advanced AI solutions in Eggplant test automation tool. This role will be part of Eggplant GenAI Agile team, collaborating closely with the Product team, Frontend engineers, Backend engineers and QA engineers to integrate Artificial Intelligence features aligned with the product roadmap.

Design, fine-tune and deploy LLM and Generative AI systems that cater to business needs, including automatic generation of text, Gherkin scenarios and test cases
Evaluate the pros and cons of different NLP approaches and Generative AI platforms with comprehensive quantitative and qualitative analysis
Continuously monitor model performance and retrain models as necessary to improve the accuracy and robustness
Perform research and stay updated on the latest advancements in Generative AI technologies
Develop AI/ML solution design documents based on the problem definition outlined in the Jira tickets
Create clear and concise documentation for models, experiments and processes to ensure knowledge sharing
Act as a coach to help peers and junior team members in building their AI/ML expertise

Bachelor/ Master/ PhD in Data Science/Computer Science, or a related field

5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, data science or related roles, with a strong focus on Generative AI models

Hands-on experience with LLM/GenAI including RAG, Vector DB, Embedding, Fine Tuning and Prompt Tuning

Proficiency in Python programming, deep learning framework (eg TensorFlow, PyTorch) and NLP libraries (eg Hugging Face, spaCy)

Familiarity with DevSecOps platforms such as GitLab and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure

Experience in test automation tool is a plus
