Support the development and continuous improvement of AI risk management frameworks, policies, standards, and guidance. Provide governance advisory, monitor regulatory developments, and incorporate relevant requirements into internal policies to promote responsible AI development and use across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support in the development, review, and enhancement of the AI risk policy stack, including framework, related policies, procedures, standards, and guidance for the organisation
- Advise and support stakeholders in interpreting and implementing AI governance requirements throughout the AI lifecycle
- Provide governance advisory and guidance to support the identification, assessment, and management of AI-related risks arising from AI use cases and initiatives
- Prepare and coordinate responses for regulatory consultations, enquiries, and industry engagements relating to AI risk management and governance
- Research and monitor emerging AI governance trends, industry standards, best practices and regulatory developments to support policy development and continuous enhancement of governance requirements
- Develop awareness programmes, training materials, guidance notes, and communication materials to promote understanding of AI risk management and governance requirements across the organisation
- Support in the preparation of updates and papers for management reporting and information
- Collaborate with risk, compliance, legal, cybersecurity, data, technology and other relevant stakeholders to support effective AI risk management across the organisation
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Public Policy, Artificial Intelligence, or a relevant discipline
- Experienced in risk management, legal or regulatory compliance matters pertaining to AI governance, technology risk, cybersecurity risk, data protection, intellectual property rights, or related functions
- Experience operating within a regulated environment, preferably in financial services
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, and frameworks relevant to AI, data protection, privacy, technology risk, cybersecurity risk, and responsible AI practices, including frameworks such as PDPA, MCIPD, GDPR, NIST, and the EU AI Act
- Keen interest in AI ethics and regulations and management of technology risk relating to AI
- Good understanding of AI and related concepts, including associated governance, ethical, and regulatory considerations
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, research, and writing skills
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills with strong sense of collaboration and teamwork
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technology, risk, compliance, legal, and audit stakeholders
- Self-motivated, highly organised, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail
