About The Role

We are looking for an AI Solutions Architect who can design end-to-end AI systems with the clarity and depth that complex client environments demand. You will be the technical authority on how AI solutions are structured, scaled, and integrated, bridging the gap between data science outputs and robust, production-ready systems.
Who You Are
You are an architect who thinks in systems. You understand how the pieces fit together, from raw data ingestion to model serving, from API design to cloud infrastructure, and you know how to make trade-offs that balance performance, maintainability, and cost. You've seen what bad architecture looks like in production, and you've learned from it.
You're as comfortable white boarding a solution with a client's CTO as you are reviewing a pull request. You can translate business requirements into technical blueprints and explain your design decisions in plain language. You bring credibility into the room and you earn trust through depth.
You stay current. You follow what's happening in LLMs, vector databases, MLOps tooling, and cloud-native AI, and you have strong opinions about when to use them and when not to.
MUST HAVES
- 5+ years in software or data engineering, with at least 2 years in a solutions architect or senior technical role
- Deep expertise in cloud architecture (AWS, GCP, or Azure), ideally with relevant certifications
- Strong understanding of ML system design: model serving, feature stores, data pipelines, monitoring, and retraining
- Experience designing and deploying scalable APIs and microservices
- Familiarity with LLM infrastructure, RAG pipelines, vector databases, prompt engineering at scale
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation and architecture diagrams
- Track record of delivering complex technical solutions in client-facing or consulting environments

- Clients trust you as the technical authority in the room, and your recommendations are adopted
- You reduce technical debt on engagements by making good design decisions early and documenting them clearly
- You enable data scientists and engineers to move faster by providing the right scaffolding and patterns
- You proactively identify integration risks and scalability constraints before they become client problems
- You contribute to Calibrax's internal knowledge base, architecture templates, reference designs, and best practices that raise the bar across engagements
