Bareboard Power & Performance Validation Engineer (AMD Laptop)
Location: GBS by the sea, Penang, Malaysia (On-site at AMD)
Job Summary:
Responsible for bareboard power system test, validation, fault troubleshooting and performance optimization for AMD platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Test and optimize bareboard power management modules
- Develop test plans for power timing, ripple, stability, low-power, CPU/GPU performance
- Analyze data, identify bottlenecks and drive optimization
- Cooperate with R&D for fault fixing and design improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Hardware or related
- 3+ years bareboard power / performance validation experience
- AMD platform experience is a strong plus
- Skilled with oscilloscope, electronic load and test tools
- Fluent in English & Chinese (Mandarin)
- On-site at AMD Penang
