JOB SUMMARY

- Serve as the senior technical specialist for the unit's digital workforce by resolving non-routine architectural challenges and ensuring automation initiatives are scalable and aligned with defined framework objectives.
- Execute the design and optimization of complex automation solutions for the innovation team, providing advanced technical diagnosis and troubleshooting to maintain a high-performance technology stack that improves unit-level efficiency.
- Implement and refine methodological guidelines and governance standards within the unit to support a compliant automation practice, while providing guidance and mentorship to junior staff on work execution and quality standards.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Innovation and Process Excellence
1.Technical Advisory & Automation Solution Design
- Lead technical assessment and evaluation of automation opportunities to support business transformation initiatives.
- Recommend suitable technologies (RPA, APIs, scripting, low-code and AI-enabled solutions) based on business requirements, feasibility and scalability considerations.
- Provide technical advisory and solution architecture guidance to ensure automation initiatives comply with established frameworks and standards.
2.End-to-End Automation Delivery
- Lead solution design, development, testing (Unit Test, SIT, UAT) and deployment activities for complex automation initiatives.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality, security, governance and operational requirements.
- Review automation components, reusable objects and technical specifications to ensure maintainability and scalability.
3.Automation Platform Stability & Technical Support
- Monitor performance, availability and stability of automation platforms and production solutions.
- Perform root cause analysis and coordinate resolution of complex incidents, defects and production issues.
- Recommend and implement improvements to enhance operational resilience, efficiency and solution performance.
4.Governance, Risk & Compliance Support
- Ensure automation initiatives comply with approved governance, risk management and change management requirements.
- Maintain complete and accurate technical documentation, audit trails and deployment records.
- Support risk assessments and implementation of appropriate controls within automated processes.
5.Stakeholder & Project Engagement
- Collaborate with business users, project teams and technology stakeholders to ensure solution requirements and expectations are clearly understood.
- Facilitate technical discussions and provide recommendations regarding solution options, benefits, limitations and potential risks.
- Support initiative planning and delivery by managing technical dependencies and implementation readiness activities.
6.Capability Development & Continuous Improvement
- Provide coaching and technical guidance to junior developers and team members.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, development standards, reusable frameworks and best practices within the automation function.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvement opportunities to enhance automation capabilities and operational effectiveness.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Malaysian citizen.
- Pass the Malay Language including an oral test at the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or an equivalent qualification as recognized by the Government.
- Possess Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related qualification recognized by the government.
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience with at least 2 years in RPA development/support (e.g., Blue Prism, UiPath, Automation Anywhere) and a strong SQL background.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using DMAIC or other Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
- Adept at stakeholder management, facilitating requirements-gathering sessions, and driving consensus.
- Experience in change management, user training, and project coordination.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business conditions.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven with strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
