PSA is currently seeking an Analyst (Mandarin speaker) to join our Kuala Lumpur office. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, especially if they have experience with writing and research.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct online media and social media research in English and Mandarin.
- Effectively collect, collate and analyze data.
- Write, package and edit reports in English, based on research carried out including research by other team members.
- Maintain accurate records of project related tasks.
- Manage and respond to project related tasks and communications (including emails).
- Prepare and conduct interviews with subject matter experts.
- Accurately monitor project budgets.
Minimum qualifications and requirements:
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in the social sciences.
- Professional fluency (both written and spoken) in English and Mandarin.
- Academic and/or work experience in the fields of political and/or social analysis, investigations or other related field of research.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and adept at online research.
- Strong level of attention to details and good analytical skills.
- Excellent written communication skills and must be able to produce professional-level research and reports in English.
- Professional and motivated self-starter capable of delivering well researched documents with minimum supervision.
- Project management skills and the ability to work effectively either independently or as part of a team.
- Able to manage multiple competing deadlines and effectively prioritize workload to deliver project deadlines.
