The Analyst, Planning plays a key role in enabling data-driven workforce decisions and disciplined execution of HR priorities across Gentari. Sitting at the intersection of workforce planning, cost management, HR analytics, and program delivery, the role builds and operationalises fit-for-purpose workforce and HR reporting in a continuously evolving systems environment. This is a hands-on builder role that turns ambiguity into structured, scalable solutions through strong analytics, systems thinking, and ownership—while upholding high integrity, discretion, and strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and business data.

Responsibilities

Workforce Planning & Strategic Budgeting

  • Lead the annual workforce planning and budgeting cycle across regions/verticals, building headcount and cost models (forecasts, scenarios) and partnering with HR, Finance and leaders to align plans to strategy and budget;
  • Provide insights and challenge assumptions to improve workforce efficiency.

Workforce Cost Management & Reporting

  • Own monthly workforce and personnel cost reporting across entities, ensuring data accuracy and Finance alignment;
  • Deliver YTD/YE projections, variance analysis (actual vs budget vs forecast), and actionable insights for management and group reporting.

Dashboarding, HR Analytics & Data Capability Building

  • Build and enhance HR dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI, Excel), translating business needs into usable analytics;
  • Assess the HR data landscape, define a fit‑for‑purpose reporting approach, and improve data quality, standardisation and efficiency as systems mature.

Systems & Process Optimization

  • Evaluate and recommend practical HR data tools and ways of working;
  • Drive standardisation and automation where feasible, and deliver minimum‑viable solutions that scale over time and are adopted across teams/regions.

HR & Enterprise Initiative Delivery

  • Coordinate and track key HR initiatives and OKRs (and selected enterprise projects), putting in place clear tracking and governance;
  • Provide progress visibility, surface risks and support stakeholder alignment for on‑time delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Data Analytics/Data Science, Business, or related field;
  • Minimum 6 years experience in workforce planning, HR analytics, Finance Planning & Analysis, or business/data analytics (preferably in fast-evolving organisations);
  • Strong workforce planning, cost modelling and analytics skills; advanced Excel and experience with Power BI (or similar);
  • Comfortable working with manual or fragmented data environments and have proven experience improving reporting frameworks or data processes;
  • High integrity and discretion; confidentiality of employee and business data is of utmost importance;
  • Commercial mindset with the confidence to challenge constructively and influence without formal authority;
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills;
  • Clear, structured, and confident communication in both written and verbal.
