This role focuses on processing money transfer (remittance) transactions, supporting customers, and ensuring compliance and accuracy. You will not be doing marketing or sales activities. Instead, you will be working behind the scenes and directly with customers to make sure transactions are completed smoothly and safely.

What You'll Do

1. Transaction Processing (Core Operations Work)

You will manage and process money transfer transactions from start to finish.

  • Process remittance transactions accurately and on time
  • Check and verify customer and transaction details to prevent errors or fraud
  • Ensure all transactions follow regulatory requirements (e.g. AML compliance)
  • Perform checks to reduce risk and protect the business
  • Investigate and fix any transaction issues or discrepancies
  • Work with internal teams to resolve issues and improve processes

2. User Onboarding (Account Setup & Verification)

You will help new customers register and start using the remittance app.

  • Verify customer identity and documents (KYC checks)
  • Ensure onboarding is accurate, compliant, and secure
  • Collect feedback to improve the onboarding experience

3. Customer Support (Service & Problem Solving)

You will assist customers and partners with any issues related to remittance services.

  • Handle customer queries via calls, chat, and support tickets (Zendesk)
  • Help resolve issues such as failed transactions, login problems, or app errors
  • Guide customers step-by-step to solve problems
  • Explain clearly how the service works, including fees and exchange rates
  • Provide a professional, helpful, and empathetic customer experience

Role Requirements:

  • 4–6 years of relevant working experience.
  • Strong ownership, proactive attitude, and willingness to learn.
  • Hands-on and able to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively.
  • Experience in remittance or fintech is an added advantage.
