About the Role

This role will lead the development of high-performance Android applications that deliver seamless user experiences and strong technical reliability. The Android Developer will design, build, and optimise features end-to-end, while collaborating closely with product and design teams to translate business needs into clean, scalable code. Their work will directly drive product quality, app performance, and customer satisfaction across Hytech's digital solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-performance Android applications from concept to deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using the latest Android development tools and best practices
• Implement UI/UX designs, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience
• Integrate third-party libraries and APIs to enhance application functionality
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, optimizing application performance and stability
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve code quality
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in the Android ecosystem

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Android application development
• Proficient in Java, Kotlin, and Android SDK
• Solid understanding of Android UI design principles and best practices
• Experience with Android architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and CI/CD tools
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills, with fluency in Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin speaking stakeholders.
