Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Android Developer with 3–5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Android application development and a solid understanding of core Android technologies, frameworks, and best practices. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Android applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Identify and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and other issues.
- Stay up to date with the latest Android trends, technologies, and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of hands-on Android development experience.
- Solid understanding of Android SDK, Kotlin/Java, UI frameworks, and development tools.
- Strong knowledge of mobile architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture).
- Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and SDK integrations.
- Familiarity with Android Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, etc.).
- Good understanding of mobile performance optimization and debugging tools.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Knowledge of CI/CD for mobile development.
- Published apps or experience maintaining large-scale apps.
