Channel Marketing Manager

The SMB/Channel Marketing Manager is a key player in driving key messages to and providing marketing tools and resources for Lenovo's network of over 20,000 channel partners. This position works closely with the channel sales, relationship sales and product marketing organizations to understand business and marketing goals and objectives and translates those goals into measurable marketing communications plans.

Velocity responsibilities for the role include:

  • Support Velocity project, represent AP Geo
  • Assist HiPO Partner treatment & Partner Benefits long term strategy plans together with Geo SMB Leader, GEO Marketing Leader and Velocity GPO
  • Continuous liaison between Geo SMB, Geo Marketing and Velocity project
  • Raise awareness of the HiPO Partner treatment & Partner Benefits program to local business function and teams
  • Participate in Velocity deployment calls
  • Plan, execute and coordinateVelocity project activities for timely completions
  • Successfully deploy Phase 2 deliverables of Velocity HiPO Partner treatment & Partner Benefits program as well as define new long term deliverables together with Geo SMB Leader, GEO Marketing Leader and Velocity GPO
  • Align, monitor and help measure ROI of the deployed deliverables

Role responsibilities

  • Manage, develop and implement marketing programs to grow business through Lenovo's channel partners. Programs include: traditional marketing communications, sales enablement, partner briefings and events, syndication, loyalty/engagement programs and more.
  • Manage the strategic planning, timeline and execution of partner programs in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Understand current SMB PC landscape and develop strategies and marketing programs to grow share and revenue
  • Lead the development of co-marketing demand generation marketing communication plans with business partners
  • Integration into channel sales organization for specific tactical development.
  • Budget ownership for specific projects managed, including budget management with relevant alliance partners.
  • Manage and analyze program metrics.
  • Customer presentations to channel partners at all levels

Role requirements:

. BA/BS in marketing or related field
. Minimum of 10 years of corporate marketing or marketing agency experience is required
. Working knowledge of technology industry and channel partners is highly preferred
. Must have customer facing/c-level presentation experience
. Budget management experience required
. Ability to manage multiple accounts/tasks
. Creative individual who is well organized with strong communications skills
. Strong project management skills
. People management experience a plus
. Travel required several times throughout the year
