- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Verify and reconcile invoices, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Manage payment schedules and ensure all payments are made within agreed timelines.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all payment activities.
- Resolve discrepancies or issues related to vendor payments and invoices.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to address payment queries.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency within the accounts payable function.
Profile
A Successful AP (Payment) Should Have
- Relevant educational qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in financial systems and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
- Problem-solving skills for resolving payment discrepancies and issues.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
