Description
- Process and verify accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and execute payment runs, including manual and electronic payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of invoices and payment documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely approval of invoices.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to accounts payable.
- Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency in payment operations.
Profile
A Successful AP Payment I Should Have
- A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial principles.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and vendors.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
