Job Description
- Process and verify accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure timely payment to vendors and maintain positive relationships with them.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Maintain accurate records of all payment transactions and documentation.
- Collaborate with internal departments to address and resolve payment-related queries.
- Support the implementation of process improvements within the accounts payable function.
- Comply with company policies and financial regulations in all payment activities.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful AP Payment Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with vendors and internal teams.
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial regulations.
