Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Head of Sales - Asia Pacific to lead commercial and business development activities for measurement systems and industrial solutions across the APAC region. This role combines strategic leadership, technical expertise, and regional market engagement to drive growth in the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-country sales strategies tailored to APAC market dynamics, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and regional opportunities.
- Set clear sales targets for individual countries, monitor KPIs, and implement corrective actions to achieve consistent revenue growth across diverse markets.
- Provide leadership and coaching to a geographically dispersed sales team, fostering collaboration, performance excellence, and cultural adaptability.
- Oversee regional sales budgets, resource allocation, and revenue forecasting to ensure financial discipline and sustainable growth.
- Drive business development with national oil companies (NOCs), international oil companies (IOCs), EPC contractors, FPSO operators, and system integrators across the region.
- Manage strategic customer relationships and secure early-phase involvement in major projects during pre-FEED, FEED, EPCIC, and lifecycle stages.
- Offer technical leadership on advanced measurement technologies, including ultrasonic, turbine, Coriolis flow meters, metering systems, analyzers, and automation solutions.
- Ensure compliance with international standards (API, ISO, OIML) and deliver technical presentations to support customer decision-making.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with regional offices, partners, and distributors to expand market coverage and strengthen channel performance.
- Represent the company at APAC industry conferences, energy summits, and technical forums to enhance brand visibility and build strategic partnerships.
The Successful Applicant
We are looking for a senior commercial leader with deep technical and regional expertise.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electrical, Chemical, Petroleum, Automation); MBA is a plus.
- Proven track record as Head of Sales or Sales Director in APAC region.
- Extensive experience in measurement systems, industrial solutions, and process instrumentation within the energy sector, with a strong focus on oil & gas (upstream, midstream, downstream).
- Familiarity with flow measurement technologies, metering systems, analyzers, and automation trends.
- Ability to engage with technical decision-makers and manage complex sales cycles for large-scale energy projects.
- Excellent leadership skills to manage multicultural, geographically distributed teams.
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and strategic planning capabilities across diverse APAC markets.
- Knowledge of custody transfer, compliance standards (API, ISO, OIML), and lifecycle project phases is an advantage.
