Job Description

What you will do

  • Process accurate and timely payroll under established procedures
  • Maintain compliance with labor laws, SOX requirements, and company policies
  • Update and maintain accurate employee data in HR systems (Workday)
  • Prepare employment contracts and HR documentation using approved templates
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities to ensure a smooth employee experience
  • Support structured onboarding program roll-outs
  • Administer compensation and benefits processes under guidance from senior HR team members
  • Provide first-line support for routine HR queries
  • Assist in organizing inclusive team, social, and engagement activities
  • Promote a healthy, safe, and positive work environment
  • Support training logistics, learning platform administration, and tracking attendance/completion
  • Execute HR transactions in compliance with policies and guidelines
  • Escalate sensitive or complex issues to senior HR staff
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in HR data, payroll, and audit activities
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams (HR, APAC managers, finance, compliance) and external vendors (payroll, benefits, training)

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in any field, preferably in human resources, business administration
  • 3 5 years of experience in HR operations, especially in payroll, preferably covering multiple HR domains or regional exposure
  • Experience handling external benefits or training vendors is an advantage
  • Proficient in HR systems such as Workday, with experience in payroll systems
  • Good understanding of labor laws, compliance processes, and HR operational procedures
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy in data management, and the ability to follow established guidelines
  • Good communication skills with the ability to provide clear procedural guidance to employees
  • Collaborative mindset, willingness to support team activities, and the ability to handle routine tasks reliably
  • High integrity, confidentiality in handling employee data, and adherence to company policies
  • Solid Chinese (Mandarin) reading, writing, and speaking skills to support our China office
