About The Role
We are seeking a highly analytical APAC SEO Specialist to act as the primary driver of organic growth across the Asia-Pacific region. This is a senior-level individual contributor role for a technical expert who can take full responsibility for regional SEO strategies, managing the end-to-end delivery for multiple languages and markets.
You will function as the core technical partner to our Web, Content, and Local Marketing teams, ensuring our digital presence is precisely optimized for the diverse search behaviors and technical requirements of the APAC landscape.
Core Responsibilities
- Regional SEO Execution: Develop and implement a high-impact SEO roadmap for priority markets (including English and at least one other key APAC language), balancing immediate technical wins with long-term foundational health.
- Technical Subject Matter Expertise: Perform deep-dive audits to resolve crawlability and indexing hurdles. You will own the optimization of Core Web Vitals, internal linking, and complex hreflang configurations, coordinating directly with developers through the QA and release cycles.
- On-Page & Content Strategy: Build advanced keyword clusters and strategic briefs to power product and educational pages, ensuring all localized content aligns with search intent and regional regulatory standards.
- Data & Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs via GSC and SEMrush, maintaining performance dashboards in Looker Studio and managing fortnightly stakeholder syncs to provide clear progress updates and prioritize workflows.
- Continuous Optimization: Run A/B tests for metadata and link modules, deploy advanced schema markup, and utilize AI-assisted clustering while upholding rigorous quality benchmarks.
- External Coordination: Manage the output of agency partners for digital PR and white-hat link-earning campaigns to strengthen regional domain authority.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 35+ years of specialized experience in technical and on-page SEO, with a proven track record of managing large-scale, multi-lingual web ecosystems.
- Linguistic Versatility: Professional fluency in English is essential; proficiency in an additional APAC language (e.g., TH, VI, ID, MS, ZH, JA, or KR) is a significant advantage for effective regional collaboration.
- Analytical Mindset: A logical, data-driven professional who lives in the data (GSC/SEMrush) and has a documented history of increasing organic traffic and keyword rankings in highly competitive niches.
- The Tech Stack: Expert proficiency with SEMrush, GA4, Looker Studio, Screaming Frog, and GTM, alongside hands-on experience with CMS platforms (WordPress or Headless).
- Technical Specialization: A deep understanding of multi-regional SEO requirements, including hreflang implementation and the nuances of APAC search behavior and seasonality.
- Preferred Qualifications: Background in Financial Services, proficiency in programmatic SEO (SQL/Python), or experience coordinating cross-border agency partners.
