Location: Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur
Employment: 12 Months Contract (Renewable)
Work arrangement: Hybrid (3 days working at the office, 2 days working from home)
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or any IT related fields
Experience
- Min 5 years of working in enterprise, regulatory BFSI industry
- Min 3 years of experience with developing API and onboarding it on the marketplace.
- Experience with API Gateway
- Min 3 years of experience leading a team of developers
Requirements
- Strong background in developing and integrating APIs for seamless data exchange.
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and efficient APIs.
- Experience setting up API Gateways (Routes, Authentication, Throttling, Rate Limiting, etc.).
- Skilled in managing production workloads and writing/managing plugins for API Gateways.
- Hands-on experience with Kong, Apisix, Apigee, or IBM Gateway (required).
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and business analysts to deliver business solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve API performance and functionality issues.
- Deep understanding of RESTful and SOAP APIs, and API management tools/platforms.
- Proficient in Node.js, Java, or .NET, with strong database knowledge.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about building efficient and reliable APIs.
