Application Engineer

Role: Application Engineer

Responsibilities

- Serve as Pre-sales technical resource to sales team, analyzing customer needs to recommend best solution.

- Able to set up, and conduct in-house application evaluation with a demo equipment, prepare convincing report & presentation for prospective clients

- Collaborate closely with hardware & software engineering team to tailor best solution & configurations to meet customer specific requirement

- Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to ensure the company's solution remain highly competitive and correctly positioned

- Work with suppliers from various countries (Europe, US, China) to discuss sample evaluation methods.

- Provide on-site training to distributors and customers.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics or related) or Bachelor of Science in Physics.

- Candidates with semiconductor industry experience and knowledge of SAM will have an added advantage. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply (semiconductor/electronics preferred)

- Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

- Self-driven, customer-oriented, and able to work independently

- Willing to travel within Malaysia, also overseas to support technical product presentation & attending application task
