About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Application Engineer to join our team, supporting our distributors and clients across Malaysia and neighboring regions. This role combines technical expertise with customer engagement, focusing on dental equipment and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end technical support: pre-sales demonstrations, installation, training, and after-sales service including equipment repair and online platform management.
- Conduct client training for new applications and product features.
- Develop application cases, technical documentation, and training materials.
- Record and analyze after-sales data; provide product feedback to R&D to drive continuous improvement.
- Assist R&D in testing new hardware, software, and materials; provide improvement suggestions.
- Support exhibitions, competitions, and on-site events with product expertise.
- Gather market and competitor insights to support internal strategy.
Qualifications
- Background in Dental, Medical Devices, or related fields; clinic experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of hardware/software systems and dental product servicing.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, quick learner, team-oriented.
- Proficient in English, Malay & Mandarin (to communicate with Chinese-speaking distributors).
- Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time, covering Malaysia and surrounding countries (minimum 1 trip per month).
