Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Application Engineer specializing in Signal Design Automation. In this role, you will guide customers in adopting model-based workflows and advanced simulation techniques across one or more domains: Signal Processing, Image Processing & Computer Vision (IPCV), Communications, and optionally Robotics and ADAS.
You will engage with engineers and researchers to understand their challenges, demonstrate the value of our tools, and support them through prototyping, simulation, and hardware integrationincluding embedded processors, SoCs, and FPGA-based platforms.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role suited for someone who enjoys solving real engineering problems, presenting technical concepts, and driving customer success.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand technical requirements and propose suitable simulation and design workflows.
- Develop and deliver compelling demos, POCs, and technical presentations using MATLAB, Simulink, and toolboxes related to signal design automation.
- Support end-to-end workflows: algorithm design, modeling, simulation, code generation, and deployment to hardware (embedded processors, FPGAs, SoCs).
- Conduct training sessions and workshops on Signal Processing, IPCV, Communications, or related domains.
- Collaborate with the sales and technical team to support pre-sales activities, requirements scoping, and solution recommendations.
- Provide post-sales technical guidance to ensure successful adoption of our software tools.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and incorporate them into demos, training content, and customer engagements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.
- Strong foundation in Signal Processing, Image Processing & Computer Vision, Communications, or Control/Robotics/ADAS (at least one area required).
- Hands-on experience with modeling and simulation of algorithms and systems.
- Practical understanding of embedded systems, FPGA development, or hardware-in-the-loop workflows.
- Good communication and presentation skills, able to convey technical concepts clearly to varied audiences.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, and relevant toolboxes (DSP System Toolbox, Communications Toolbox, Computer Vision Toolbox, etc.).
- Experience with code generation (MATLAB Coder, Simulink Coder, HDL Coder).
- Familiarity with FPGA workflows, SoC-based designs, or embedded deployment.
- Knowledge of machine learning, sensor fusion, ADAS/robotics algorithms, or system-level simulation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- At least 3 years of working experience
