Job Title: Application Maintenance / Production Support (L3)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Application Maintenance / Production Support Engineer to manage and support core banking systems related to ATM Host and Statements. The role focuses on L3 support, troubleshooting complex production issues, and ensuring high availability and performance of AS400-based applications in a banking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide L3 production support for ATM Host and Statements systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in AS400/DB2 environments
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
  • Maintain and enhance existing applications written in COBOL and RPG
  • Support deployment processes using ALDON for AS400 systems
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve automation and deployment workflows
  • Monitor system performance and ensure uptime and reliability
  • Work on ATM-related systems and ensure seamless customer transactions
  • Implement and support encryption mechanisms for secure data handling
  • Prepare documentation and incident reports for management review

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in COBOL and RPG programming
  • Hands-on experience with AS400 (IBM i) systems
  • Knowledge of DB2 databases
  • Experience in production support (L2/L3) environments
  • Understanding of ATM systems and transaction processing
  • Familiarity with ALDON for deployment automation
  • Basic knowledge of DevOps practices
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience in Core Banking systems
  • Knowledge of encryption and security practices
  • Exposure to financial services or banking domain
  • Familiarity with batch processing and job scheduling on AS400
  • Experience in incident management and reporting tools
  • Ability to work in high-pressure production environments
