Key Responsibilities:
- Fix Defects: Utilize Java to resolve application issues and defects within the Fircosoft environment.
- Unix/Linux Scripting: Develop and maintain scripts to support automation and system processes within a RedHat Linux environment.
- Database Management: Write and optimize basic SQL queries to interact with Oracle databases.
- Application Customization: Customize application interfaces to meet business requirements and enhance system performance.
Must-Have Skills:
- Unix/Linux Scripting: Ability to write, debug, and maintain scripts in Unix/Linux environments.
- Linux (RedHat) Knowledge: Proficient in working with RedHat Linux, with hands-on experience in managing Linux servers.
- Java: Strong understanding of Java, required for fixing defects in customized applications.
- SQL (Basic): Competent in writing and understanding basic SQL queries for database interaction.
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Unix/Linux scripting, Java, and basic SQL within a banking/financial services context.
- Familiarity with transaction screening and payment processing systems, specifically SWIFT.
Preferred Experience:
- Hands-on experience with Fircosoft or similar message screening software.
- Experience in handling IBM MQ and SWIFT message formats.
- Knowledge of DevOps and automation tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Sonarqube.
